Once he reaches 40% health, he will spam Striped Vortex at you. After summoning the Vultures, he will retreat to a corner and repeat his other attacks. This opening also gives you ample time to heal, if necessary. If you're low on ammunition, this may be a good opportunity to refill. He will always pause for a moment in the center before casting. When he moves to the center of the room to cast Vultures Call, slash him as many times as you can. Next, dodge his attacks until he moves into a corner. When the fight starts, use your default gun to shoot all of your bullets. Blunderbuss is the best weapon, can damage up to 5 HP per shot but it depends on how far you are from the boss. Vultures can be killed by The Hierophant.ĭon't be greedy during this bossfight, and take your time dashing away from his vortex attacks. The Vultures will immediately attack the Drifter, using their regular swooping attack. The Hierophant will move to the center summoning 4 Vultures, one in each corner of the arena. When brought down to 40% HP, this attack will be spammed.Casts a wave of detonating tiles, crossing the room vertically or horizontally.Increased size (4 tiles larger) when brought down to 70% HP.Detonates the tiles at the player's feet, in a ✕ or a + shape. The Hierophant will no longer use this attack when brought down to 40% HP.Casted twice when brought down to 70% HP.Casts a trail of detonating tiles that follows the player's movements.I still say that 800 dashes is a ridiculous number. Good luck, even with the metronome this ♥♥♥♥ could still take a few tries. If you don't believe that this is possible, hop on over to my profile, I've got Walk-in Closet to prove it. Focus entirely on matching your button presses with the beat of the metronome and eventually (after what seems like WAY too long) you'll have completed 800 dashes in a row. The timing on them is surprisingly lenient so you should be able to time your button presses perfectly with the metronome after enough of them.ĭon't even look at the screen after that, at that point it's only a distraction. Place your mouse directly over one of the two regen pads and start up your dashes. Work your way over to the track and unplug your controller if you've been using one. I can't really confirm this but who knows, it might have a placebo affect. Some people have said that it helps make chain-dashing easier. Next start up the game and equip the blue-green cape if you've unlocked it. The best you can do is open up the volume mixer on the desktop and lower the volume that way, which is more or less the same thing. Once you've started it you might be inclined to mute your ingame volume so you can focus better.įor some reason if you hit 800 dashes in a row with your SFX volume turned all the way down, it causes the game to crash without saving your progress. Some people have better luck on 250bps, personally that only got me to about 650. So I keep hearing people complaining about this outfit (myself being one of them until around 10 minutes ago), and usually the responses are either met with agreements or a few people spamming "git gud ezpz" in the comments, so I figured I'd tell you how I managed to do it not once but twice in a row after crashing the first time.įirst thing's first, find an online metronome (I used ) and set it to 240bps.
